Hogwarts Wax Seal – Harry Potter

Welcome to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, a British wizarding school, funded by the Ministry of Magic. The school is located in the Scottish Highlands, where magical students from Great Britain and Ireland are enrolled on their 11th Birthday.
The precise location of the school can never be uncovered, as a protection spell makes it unplottable. Hence each student and the school are always protected from any harm from Magical Creatures and Dark magic.

To Muggles, the school appears to be an old, abandoned castle. Similarly, most wizarding schools’ locations are protected in order to prevent their ways of teaching being revealed. Furthermore magic can be studied away from prying eyes, while young witches and wizards learn the importance of spells, potions, divination, protection from the dark arts and others.
